E063 - Will Gardner from Purpose Driven Business

Will helps leaders and their organisations thrive through the power of Purpose. He’s a consultant, coach and speaker.

Will started his career at Mars Inc, where he performed a variety of marketing roles across Europe. In 1999 he joined web-publishing pioneer Moonfruit as Marketing Director. After a period spent consulting, in 2008 Will joined Unilever as VP Marketing Strategy.

He led the design and rollout of the ‘Crafting Brands for Life’ Way of Marketing – equipping Unilever’s 6,000 marketers to bring social purpose to their brands and achieve digital excellence.

In 2014 Will founded Collectively, a digital media and collaboration platform created to accelerate the shift to sustainable ways of consumption. Originating in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Collectively partnered with more than thirty companies including M&S, BT and Google, and a wide network of NGOs and social entrepreneurs.

Will is a B Leader, an Ambassador for the Positive Innovation Club and a Fellow of the RSA. He’s a proud father of three daughters and loves his road bike way more than he should.
